Policy
Terms of Service
These terms govern access to and use of poriq cloud services, including public HTTP tunnels, account features, and any paid subscription plans.
Last updated: 2026-06-26
Service Scope
poriq provides hosted tunneling features that expose user-controlled local or private services through public endpoints. Availability, protocol support, limits, and features may vary by plan and deployment mode.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account, API tokens, reserved subdomains, and tunnel traffic routed through the service. You must keep credentials secure and notify us if you believe your account or tunnel has been compromised.
Acceptable Use
You may not use poriq for phishing, malware delivery, credential theft, spam, botnet control, copyright abuse, denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized access, or any illegal or harmful activity. Additional restrictions are described in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Plans, Billing, and Renewals
Paid cloud plans are billed by Paddle as merchant of record. By purchasing a paid plan, you also agree to the applicable Paddle checkout and payment terms presented during purchase.
Plan limits, pricing, and included features may change over time. We may suspend or restrict service if payment is overdue, reversed, or determined to be fraudulent.
Tunnel Availability and Reconnection
Paid tunnels automatically attempt to reconnect when the tunnel agent or poriq infrastructure is restarted. poriq may intentionally drain or reconnect tunnels during planned deployments, urgent security updates, infrastructure maintenance, worker drain, failover, or other operational events needed to protect service stability.
During such events, poriq may stop accepting new connections on an old process, ask connected agents to reconnect, and close existing tunnel control connections after a grace period. Existing HTTP requests may be retried by the client application when appropriate. Existing TCP or UDP application sessions through a tunnel may be interrupted and should be prepared to reconnect after the tunnel endpoint has recovered.
Suspension and Termination
We may rate-limit, suspend, terminate, or permanently block accounts, subdomains, tunnels, tokens, IPs, or traffic that violate these terms, create security risk, trigger abuse signals, or threaten service stability or legal compliance.
No Warranty
The service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, universal protocol compatibility, or suitability for any particular use case, especially where third-party networks, browsers, and local devices are involved.
